Describing Gatlinburg, Tennessee is easy. Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountain Park, our quaint town is filled with everything a meeting planner needs for a successful event: a beautiful, state of the art convention center, 10,000+ sleeping rooms, with 4,000+ sleeping rooms near the convention center, including full service and limited service hotels and motels, cabins, condominiums and chalets. Gatlinburg also offers 500+ shops, 100+ restaurants, and attractions for groups of every age and interest. All in an accessible, walkable destination.

You’ve got a lot on your mind, and you want your meeting to go smoothly. The Gatlinburg Convention Center has 148,000 square feet of total space featuring a 67,000 square foot exhibit hall, 8,800 square foot auditorium and 17,000 square foot ballroom and is a venue of great beauty with a warm and spacious feeling. Reminiscent of the great lodges in America’s national parks, the Convention Center is built in an Arts and Crafts style that features a generous use of mountain stone and woodwork. Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, the Convention Center offers you a pedestrian-friendly location that provides easy access to everything the city has to offer, as well as the adjacent to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Getting to and around Gatlinburg is easy. Gatlinburg is centrally located in the eastern U.S., which means it’s less than a day’s drive from most major cities. McGhee Tyson Airport in nearby Knoxville, Tennessee is located 45 minutes from Gatlinburg. Once you’re in Gatlinburg, getting around is easy as well. Gatlinburg is a pedestrian-friendly destination where visitors can walk or take the trolley from their accommodations and convention center to most attractions. It’s a wonderful way to soak up the sights and sounds on a fun ride aboard a nostalgic streetcar trolley.

Meetings in Gatlinburg are enhanced by the wide variety of accommodation options. Gatlinburg offers 10,000+ sleeping rooms including full-service and limited-service hotels and motels, condominiums, cabins and chalets.
